9am - 1pm Science & Engineering Department of Food Science and Nutrition and Department of Horticultural Science
Francisco Diez from the Department of Food Science and Nutrition will be discussing the types of vegetables that have been on the news linked to outbreak and talk about which ones are largely safe. Jim Luby from the Department of Horticultural Science will discuss the process of developing new apple varieties in the University of Minnesota Fruit Breeding Program.
9am - 9pm Sports & Recreation University of Minnesota Athletics
9am - 3pm Health School of Nursing
School of Nursing staff will be on hand to discuss the nursing profession and the school. Blood pressure screenings will also be administered.

The Terroir of Northern Wine John Thull and Jenny Bradley will discuss viticulture and winemaking with the U's new, cold-hardy wine grape varieties, and the sensory characteristics of northern wines.

3 - 9pm Health Department of Emergency Medicine
"ER: From the Inside-Out" Tips for Seniors from Michelle Biros, MD, Emergency Room Doctor. Learn how to handle common medical emergencies in your home. Dr. Biros and Corey Sargent, NREMT-P will demonstrate how to use an AED during heart attacks. AED's are used in the community to help save lives after heart attack. Dr. Biros sees patients at Hennepin County Medical Center and is a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Wildlife CSI: What has been eating my beans and flowers? John Loegering will discuss wildlife in our backyards and gardens.
